1. Where is Goshen Lodge located?

Goshen Lodge operates four properties across Cape Town:

The three Goodwood properties are roughly 15 minutes from the Cape Town CBD and 10 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. Barnard is in Bellville, close to the Tyger Valley and Bellville business districts, and convenient for the northern suburbs industrial corridor.

2. What types of accommodation are available?

Goshen Lodge has 37 rooms across four properties. Every room has its own rate, so you can choose the bed setup that suits your group.

3. What do rooms cost?

Standard rooms start from R650 per night. Family rooms start from R1,000 per night. Full four-bedroom apartments are priced as a single unit.

Contractor rates (per person per night, sharing):

• Premium R350: Standard Room, 2 sleeper with two single beds. Best for site managers and pairs.
• Standard R300: Family Room, 3 to 5 sleeper with separate single beds. Best for project crews.
• Budget R250: Family or Standard Room, up to 5 sleeper with a bunk and double bed mix. Best for large workforces.

4. Can you accommodate large groups and contractor teams?

Yes. Goshen Lodge accommodates group bookings of up to 102 guests across our four Cape Town properties. This makes us a practical base for construction crews, site teams, conferences, sports groups, church groups and family functions.

5. Do you offer self-catering apartments?

Yes. Our studio, three-bedroom and four-bedroom apartments include:

• Fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge-freezer and cookware

• En-suite or private bathrooms depending on the unit
• Optional weekly or fortnightly housekeeping for long stays

6. Do you provide hourly rooms?

Yes. Hourly rooms suit day use, layovers, remote work and short meetings. Blocks of one to two hours, four hours and eight hours are available.

8. How do I book?

2. Choose your tier: Premium R350, Standard R300 or Budget R250 per person per night, sharing.
3. Submit your dates, crew size and preferred property to request a quote.
4. Receive a written quote from our group desk, pay in full using the reference on your quotation, and your rooms are confirmed.

Online bookings are confirmed by email within 60 seconds. Group and contractor enquiries receive a written quote from the group desk.

9. Which payment methods do you accept?

• EFT to our FNB or ABSA account, with banking details supplied on your quotation
• Secure card payment through PayGate, Yoco or iKhokha
• Card payment on arrival at reception

Full payment is required to secure a reservation. We do not hold rooms on deposits or instalments. Please use the reference shown on your quotation so that payment is allocated without delay.

10. What is your cancellation policy?

All bookings are non-refundable once confirmed. Rooms are released and allocated to your reservation immediately, which is what allows us to hold our direct rate.

Date changes may be considered subject to availability and written approval. Full terms are on the Policies page.

11. What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged subject to availability. A valid photo ID (ID book, passport or driver's licence) is required at check-in, and guests must be 18 or older to check in without an adult. Quiet hours are 22:00 to 07:00. Late arrivals are accommodated. Please advise your estimated arrival time when booking so that reception can prepare for you.

12. Is smoking permitted?

All rooms and indoor areas are strictly non-smoking. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.

Smoking inside a room triggers a cleaning and fumigation penalty charged to the guest account, as set out on the Policies page.

13. Do you offer an airport shuttle?

Yes, on request. Cape Town International Airport is roughly 10 minutes from our Goodwood properties.

Site and industrial park shuttles can also be arranged for contractor groups on daily rotation. See the Airport Shuttle page or request it when booking.

14. Is the lodge secure and family friendly?

Yes. All four properties offer secure on-site parking, and Goshen Lodge Fitzroy is monitored by CCTV. Reception is open daily from 07:00 to midnight. Late arrivals are accommodated when you share your arrival time in advance.
